Tervetuloa Suomen Klarinettiseuran
kotisivuille!
Suomen Klarinettiseura
perustettiin vuonna 1980 toimimaan suomalaisten klarinetinsoittajien
yhdyssiteenä sekä edistämään soittimen ja klarinetinsoiton tuntemusta
maassa. 25-vuotias seura on luonut vahvat siteet myös ulkomaille.
Mm. englantilaisen (the Clarinet & Saxophone Society of Great Britain)
kanssa yhteistyötä on tehty konsertoiden kummassakin maassa. Muut
esiintymismatkat ovat suuntautuneet Belgiaan ja Ruotsiin. Suomi on
myös kansainvälisen klarinettiyhteisön ICA:n (International Clarinet
Association) ja eurooppalaisen klarinetti- ja saksofoniyhteisön
EuroCASS:in (European Clarinet & Saxophone Society) aktiivinen
jäsenmaa.
The Finnish Clarinet Society
The Finnish Clarinet Society was
established in 1980 to work furthering knowledge of the instrument and
clarinet playing in Finland. Over 25 years in existence
it has created strong ties with societies throughout the world. For
example, The Finnish Clarinet society has collaborated with the
Clarinet & Saxophone Society of Great Britain in giving concerts in
both coutries. Finland is also a member of the International Clarinet
Association
(ICA) and the European Clarinet and Saxophone Society, EuroCASS. The
most known activity of the society is The Finnish Clarinet Ensemble
which was founded in 1983. Since its conception the ensemble has given
concerts regularly, performing at least once in a year at its annual
meeting which is held in various Finnish cities. The ensemble has
performed in Sweden, Belgium
(ICA conference in Ghent) and Great Britain. The Finnish Clarient
Ensemble has published two CD´s containing also contemporary Finnish
clarinet choir works. The number of
players varies from twenty to forty.
